Ordained to the priesthood

Last Saturday I was ordained to the priesthood in The Episcopal Church and last Sunday I served as celebrant at the Eucharist for the first time at our sponsoring parish, St. George’s Episcopal Church. I am so grateful! God is good; God is love.

I will so cherish this moment from last week’s ordination when Bishop Rob Wright asked Bear to help him vest me in my priest’s stole. The microphone turned off but he whispered to Bear throughout.
